In June 2021, I had the opportunity to take a six week sabbatical through my work. I spent ten days of this sabbatical on a solo trip to Southern Italy, exploring many cities that were high on my wish list. The world was just starting to recover from Covid, so travel was just starting to open back up and everything was a lot less crowded at the time.
